In 1969, Mahmoud Sami Abdelkawi and Ashraf Allouba formed a partnership and established ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A. Together they formed a formidable team that went on to execute some of Egypt’s most vital mega-scale projects. In 1974 they went on to establish TEA Computers , today one of the reputable and long standing Information Technology companies in Egypt.
Former Chairman and CEO of TEA Computers Mr. Amr Allouba will always be remembered by his family, friends, and colleagues as a compassionate, generous, and selfless man of genuine sincerity and devotion. His warm-hearted nature and his commitment to the highest degrees of professional excellence won him the love and esteem of all those who had the privilege of working with him. He constituted a role model for all of us, and his passing marks a great personal loss to us, to our company, and to the IT community at large. With over forty-seven years of experience, Mr. Amr Allouba was integral in establishing, planning and following up on the execution of the company’s general policy that saw TEA Computers grow to where it is nowadays as a one of the largest reputable computer companies working in Egypt, offering its advanced services for over two thousand installations. Mr. Allouba occupied the positions of Chairman, Information Committee of the Egyptian Capital Market Association (ECMA); Board Member & Secretary General, Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA); Member, Board of Directors of the Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce (EBCC); as well as Member of the Board of Trustees, Nile University, Egypt. Mr. Allouba was also an active member in many prestigious associations, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham); British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA); Chambre de Commerce Française en Egypte (CCFE); Saudi Egyptian Business Association (SEBA); and the Egyptian Ethiopian Business Council.
